The idea for Diddycon was sprung out of a need for an event for hobbyists in South Wales and the West England to rally around.
An opportunity for us all to meet up, talk about the hobby we love and show of our latest pieces.
Entry to the event was free, but tickets were required for the painting competition.

Painting competition
The first major painting competition taking place in South Wales. The competition will have opportunities for everyone to demonstrate their talents. On the day there ended up being 65 entrants showcase an amazing 560 models!
The Judges
Albert Moreto Font
Alberts experience as a both a painter and judge is aspirational to many in the hobby. He has a string of incredible achievements in the hobby, including most recently incredible pieces for the World model expo and Golden Demon competitions, even winning the slayer sword. This experience will be brought to the judging table to help decide the winners on the day!
The Judges for the event were:
Liam Hearne
Liam is a full time miniature painting tutor and streamer with almost two decades of experience in the hobby. He will be bringing his incredible analytical eye to the competition.
