Meet Maldwyn, an unusually tall dwarf who discovered his destiny through the pages of an ancient tome. Born with a body that set him apart from his dwarven brethren, Maldwyn faced mockery and exclusion throughout his childhood in the mines. However, his lanky stature didn't dampen his spirit or his thirst for adventure.

During a visit to the dwarven library, Maldwyn stumbled upon a dusty old book that depicted the legendary Landsknecht mercenaries. The vivid descriptions of their discipline, combat techniques, and vibrant uniforms sparked an ember of inspiration within him. Fueled by the tales he read, Maldwyn began an earnest self-education journey, learning everything he could about the art of combat and the ways of the Landsknecht.

Guided by the wisdom of the book's pages, Maldwyn practiced tirelessly, perfecting the techniques described in its chapters. He mimicked their drills, crafted replicas of their weapons, and adopted their tactics as his own. His more slight build and longer limbs lending his body a flexibility of movement not seen in dwarves.
